Rex Black Inc. starts as a software quality consulting and training firm: test strategy, test management, and risk-based testing for teams shipping software that cannot fail.
- Through 2022
Training and coaching the industry
ASTQB accreditation makes Rex Black Inc. one of the first ISTQB-accredited training providers in the United States. Enterprise QA teams, from Epic Games, Riot Games, and Blizzard Entertainment to the US Air Force Cyber Command, train on our curriculum and are coached on our methods.

From testing to building
The firm expands from quality into delivery: websites and commerce, Salesforce and ERP systems, and AI agents, with testing built into every engagement. Salesforce, Shopify, and HubSpot partnerships follow.

Dedicated practices
Digital, testing, and AI agent work are organized into dedicated practices, each led by domain practitioners and aimed at a specific business pressure.
- 2025
AI in production
AI Voice Agent and AI Lead Intelligence launch as production systems. Training expands into AI quality: ISTQB CT-AI accredited delivery, LLM test design, evaluation frameworks, and AI observability.
- 2026
Agentic enterprise
Accepted into the Anthropic Cloud partnership program. Agentforce agents grounded in Data Cloud, and industry-specific autonomous agents in production.
